Gather with like-minded folks, enjoy good company, great appetizers and desserts. See displays of local conservation efforts and service projects.

Meet the new Sierra Club Lone Star Chapter Director, Scheleen Walker (former Legislative Director to Representative Donna Howard). She will will speak to us about past successes and upcoming challenges, including ones in the next legislative session.

Jennifer Walker, our chapter Water Resources Coordinator, will speak to us about her work in Houston to conserve our most precious resource.

Hear about plans for the 2015 Legislative Session and the Sierra Club's leadership in Austin on environmental policy.

There will be refreshments as well as optional short hikes/walks led nearby from 6 to 7 PM.

Please support our environmental work through your purchase of tickets or becoming a sponsor of the evening. Sponsors will be acknowledged at the event. If you cannot attend, please consider donating the price of a ticket or sponsorship. Your donation will benefit both the Lone Star Chapter & the Houston Regional Group.
